- Optional: a few drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit, 1-2 teaspoons honey
- Optional flavor boosters: lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, or crushed berries
Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin by pouring 1 cup cold water into a bowl and sprinkling the gelatin over the top evenly. Let sit for 5-8 minutes.
- Heat your main liquid by warming 2 cups of your chosen liquid, ensuring it is hot but not boiling.
- Dissolve by pouring the hot liquid into the bloomed gelatin and stirring until fully dissolved.
- Taste and tweak the flavor by adding lemon, salt, or sweetener as desired.
- Chill the mixture by pouring it into a dish or molds and refrigerating for at least 3 hours or overnight.
- Serve by cutting into cubes or unmolding, preferably served with a spoonful of plain Greek yogurt on the side.
Notes
For best results, bloom gelatin in cold water and avoid boiling to maintain texture and flavor.
