- 1 cup cassava flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil (optional)
- 1 cup hot water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cassava flour, salt, and optionally oil.
- Add hot water gradually and mix with hands until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into golf ball-sized balls.
- Flatten each ball using your palm or a tortilla press.
- Heat a dry skillet on medium-high heat and cook each tortilla until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another minute until browned.
Notes
Keep the skillet dry; oil will affect the texture. If the dough is too dry, add water gradually.
