Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Cut in cold butter until it resembles pea-sized pieces.
  3. Add ice water gradually until the dough holds together when pressed.
  4. Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes.
  5. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  6. Cut, fill if desired, and bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–18 minutes until golden.
