- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon plain gelatin powder
- 1 to 2 cups cold water or cold unsweetened herbal tea
- Juice of half a lemon or lime
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the warm water into a glass or shaker jar.
- Sprinkle gelatin on top and let it sit for 1 minute to bloom.
- Stir well until it dissolves.
- Add your cold water or tea, then lemon or lime.
- Taste it and add honey if needed for sweetness.
- Drink it right away for a smooth drink, or chill it for 20 to 30 minutes for a thicker texture.
Notes
If you hate the texture, drink it sooner. For a thicker jelly vibe, chill it longer. Start with a smaller serving if you are new to gelatin.
