- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp fine salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add the olive oil and warm water, stirring until a soft, slightly tacky dough forms. Add more water as needed.
- Divide the dough into 6 pieces and roll or press each into 1/8–1/4″ thickness.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C).
- Cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side until golden spots appear.
- Keep cooked flatbreads wrapped in a clean towel to maintain flexibility.
Notes
Ideal for serving with hummus, making flatbread pizzas, or as a dipper for stews. Store cooled flatbreads in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
