- 2 cups (240 g) gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
- 1 tablespoon (14 g) baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons (85 g) very cold unsalted butter
- 3/4–1 cup (180–240 ml) cold buttermilk
Instructions
- Whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles pea-sized crumbs.
- Stir in the cold buttermilk until the dough just comes together.
- Pat the dough to 1-inch (2.5 cm) thickness.
- Cut out biscuits with a floured cutter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
Notes
For extra flakiness, chill the dough before cutting and keep all ingredients cold.
