Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cold butter or shortening, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cold water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Pulse the flour, salt, and cold butter in a food processor until coarse crumbs form.
  2. Add the shredded cheddar and cold water, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough between parchment paper to about 1/16 inch thickness.
  4. Cut the rolled dough into squares and dock each square with a fork.
  5. Chill the crackers on the baking sheet for about 15-20 minutes in the fridge.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
