Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown rice flour
  • 1 cup tapioca starch
  • 1 cup sorghum flour
  • 1 cup potato starch
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • Sesame seeds, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine brown rice flour, tapioca starch, sorghum flour, potato starch, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix warm water with yeast and honey; let sit until foamy.
  3. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Shape dough into bagels and let rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add honey or maple syrup.
  6. Boil bagels one at a time for 2 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove from boiling water, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes
