- 2 cups water, divided (1 cup hot, 1 cup cold)
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
- 2 to 4 teaspoons sweetener of choice (optional, to taste)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Pour 1 cup cold water into a bowl. Sprinkle gelatin on top evenly and let it sit for 5 to 8 minutes to bloom.
- Heat 1 cup water until hot but not boiling. Add it to the bloomed gelatin and stir until fully dissolved and clear.
- Stir in sweetener, citrus, and that tiny pinch of salt.
- Pour into small cups or a glass dish. Chill for 2 to 4 hours until set.
Notes
Use brewed tea for a stronger flavor base and portion into small cups for controlled snacking.
