- 2 cups gluten-free flour blend
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup plant-based milk (almond, oat, or coconut)
- 1/4 cup melted vegan butter or olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal (optional, or other egg replacers)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the plant-based milk, melted vegan butter, apple cider vinegar, and flaxseed meal.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Keep your hands wet to shape the dough into small balls.
- Place the dough balls close together in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush the tops with melted vegan butter before serving.
Notes
For best results, use a gluten-free flour blend that includes xanthan gum or guar gum. These rolls can be frozen after baking.
