- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup whole milk or unsweetened alternative
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh chopped chives
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Create a well in the center and add eggs, milk, and melted butter; stir until combined.
- Add shredded cheddar and optional seasonings; mix until no dry patches remain.
- If the dough feels sticky, let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Scoop out golf-ball sized portions and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use the cheese you like best for optimal flavor. Adjust milk quantity based on humidity.
