A fun and easy Halloween-themed garlic bread, perfect for kids and movie nights.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gluten free baguette or sub roll
  • 3 tbsp butter or dairy free spread, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella or dairy free cheese slices, cut into thin strips
  • Sliced black olives for eyes
  • Pinch of parsley or chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the gluten free baguette in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread the softened garlic butter generously on both halves.
  4. Lay the cheese strips in a messy, crisscross pattern over the top.
  5. Add two olive slices for eyes on each piece.
  6. Place in the oven and bake until the cheese is melty and golden, about 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t stress about the cheese placement; it’s OK for it to look messy! If the bread is hard, warm it before slicing. Leftover bread should be kept at room temperature, not refrigerated.
