- 1 packet unflavored gelatin (or 1 tablespoon)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A handful of berries or sliced strawberries
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over the cold water in a bowl and let it sit for about 2 minutes to bloom.
- Stir in the hot water until fully dissolved.
- Add lemon juice and sweetener if desired.
- Pour into little cups, add berries, and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight for a firmer texture.
Notes
A pinch of salt and a squeeze of citrus can enhance the flavor significantly.
