Ingredients

  • 1 packet pink flavored gelatin (strawberry or raspberry)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice
  • Optional: a tiny pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the hot water into a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in the flavored gelatin and whisk until totally dissolved.
  3. Sprinkle in the unflavored gelatin slowly while whisking to avoid clumps.
  4. Stir in the cold water. Add lemon juice if using.
  5. Pour into a dish or molds and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours until set.

Notes

For firmer texture, add more unflavored gelatin slowly. Use glass dishes for cleaner squares.
